In this episode, we sit down with Amisa Rashid, the founder and executive director of Nivishe Foundation, a youth and women-led organization based in Kibra, Nairobi, Kenya. Founded in 2019, Nivishe is dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and raising awareness about mental illnesses at the grassroots level, particularly in marginalized communities and informal settlements.

Nivishe Foundation works to build community resilience by implementing community-based mental health interventions and trauma-informed programming.
